nexusV is currently seeking outstanding individuals eager to join our team of talented web professionals. We are excited to announce the following position.
Junior to Intermediate Web Application Developer (Contract Position)
This person will be responsible for producing browser-based software solutions to realize website design and interface concepts. You have a solid understanding of HTML CSS, and JavaScript, PHP and are always looking for the best solutions. Mobile technology knowledge is an asset. This person will be a part of our contractors network that may grow into a full time position and will be responsible for the development and delivery of technical aspects or projects.
Responsibilities:
> Assist with implementation of project architecture, standards and processes
> Assist with development of project code
> Substantial experience with client service
> Proficiency with cross-browswer/cross-platform issues, web standards
> Experience working in a Mac/PC environment
> Personal office, computer software and equipment with high-speed internet connection
Desired Skills:
> BSc. in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience
> Experience with JSP, ASP, PHP
> Familiarity with source code control systems
> Familiarity with web-based testing and QA processes
> GUI design experience
> Mobile technology knowledge is an asset
> Self motivated, accountable, excellent organizational skills
> Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and meet tight deadlines
> Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
Rate: TBD depending on experience
